Our client is seeking an Application Integration Specialist who will be involved with most major IT application projects. The Application Integration Specialist will plan, execute and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise making sure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals; fulfill end-user requirements; and identify and resolve system issues. The incumbent is responsible for testing the interoperability of application modules under development by software development teams and will collaborate with analysts, designers and system owners in the design and testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent work experience.

5 years experience in enterprise level application integration and overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.

Must be technically fluent in programming languages including AS/400, RPG4 and JAVA.

Strong background in risk management methodologies as they relate to integration/software engineering.

Project management skills.

Knowledge of integration best practices.

Experience in the banking/finance industry required.
